Novel[]
The protagonist notices a strong aroma of incense that can be detected thousands of kilometers away. Suspecting a possible spy, he identifies Eunjae Ko, the second disciple of Yijon, one of the four venerable masters of the Blood Sect, who sneaks out in the middle of the night carrying the scent of the aromatic oil.
Faced with suspicion of treason, the protagonist decides to confront him. Eunjae Ko tries to dissuade him, insinuating that curiosity can be dangerous, but the protagonist responds shrewdly and begins an intense fight. The fight is fierce, with quick attacks and skillful defenses. The protagonist surprises Eunjae Ko with his superior strength and techniques, revealing that he had hidden part of his abilities. During the fight, Eunjae tries to escape, but the protagonist pursues him.
In a strategic maneuver, Eunjae creates a curtain of dust to obscure the opponent's vision and attempts a surprise attack. However, the protagonist, with his keen perception, manages to anticipate the blow and counterattack precisely. The fight continues in a fierce manner, with both combatants demonstrating high-level techniques. Finally, the protagonist delivers a decisive blow, immobilizing Eunjae Ko.
Upon examining the opponent's body, the protagonist finds a suicide device hidden in Eunjae's mouth, a small poisonous pill attached to a piece of dental floss. This confirms his suspicions that Eunjae Ko is indeed a spy. With no other option, the defeated man tries to resist, but is completely overpowered. The protagonist carries him back to the cult headquarters.
Upon arriving at the cult, they notice strange movement. Alarms are ringing, and members of the Blood Cult are placing oiled straw in various points of the building, indicating that they are preparing to burn evidence and evacuate. The protagonist, determined to reveal the truth, throws Eunjae Ko's unconscious body in front of the cult leaders, including Hae-ak-cheon, Song-ga's doubles, Baek-ryeon-ha, the blood witch Han-baek-ha, Nan-mado-je Seo-gal-ma, Man-sa-shin-ui, and the leader Gu-sang-woong.
The revelation shocks everyone, especially Seo-gal-ma, Eunjae Ko's master. The protagonist declares that Eunjae Ko is a spy, leaving everyone present perplexed and on alert. Tensions mount as the leaders try to assimilate the information and decide what to do with the traitor. The story leaves Eunjae Ko's fate and the consequences of her betrayal to the Blood Cult in suspense.
