Novel[]

In a world where martial arts dominate the Central Plains, twelve masters are considered superhuman. Of these, eight are known as the Eight Great Masters of the Central Plains, allies of Jeongdo, while the remaining four, followers of Sado and Heukdo, are called the Four Great Evildoers of the Central Plains. The latter have a fearsome reputation, shrouded in anecdotes of horror and carnage. One example is Sima Zhao, one of the Four Great Evildoers, who led the massacre of the Gowolbang sect in Sacheon Province. In response, several sects joined forces to attack their stronghold, Gyewolgok, but all 400 warriors who participated in the attack were killed.

Sima Zhao's amazing story extends to his descendant, Sima Yeong, who unexpectedly applies to join the Blood Cult. This decision is intriguing, as according to the logic of events, he should have been linked to the Musang Clan, just like his father. Apparently, something altered the predicted timeline. This change raises questions about Gyewolgok, which was not yet known as the stronghold of the Four Great Evildoers, and about Sima Yeong's relationship with the influential Samase family.

Sima Yeong, when questioned about his identity, denies any connection to the Samase family and reveals a deep resentment towards them, as his mother was allegedly a victim of the influential family. Driven by revenge, he seeks to join the Blood Cult in order to gain enough strength to exact revenge. This revelation leads to a shocking moment, when Sima Yeong removes her face mask, revealing herself to be an incredibly beautiful woman. Her desire is to be recognized for her skills, not her looks.

The debate over whether to accept her into the Blood Cult intensifies, as her lineage is linked to one of the Four Great Evildoers. However, their presence could be a deciding factor in the balance of power, depending on how their strength is used.

Meanwhile, in a hidden temple in the mountains, Baekryeonha, Haeakcheon, and other members of the Blood Cult anxiously await So Woon-hui’s return. Haeakcheon, despite his apparent indifference, is deeply concerned about his apprentice’s disappearance. With time running out, the decision is made to continue their journey, as staying in one place for too long could be dangerous.

However, before they can leave, a commotion occurs outside the temple. When they go out to check, they encounter a group of warriors accompanied by Nanmadouje Seogalma, a young man in a yellow turban, and to everyone’s surprise, So Woon-hui, who had been presumed dead, returns alive. This turn of events brings new hope and unpredictable changes to the future of martial arts in the Central Plains.
