Ikyangsogaro begins with a tense moment for the protagonist, who finds himself in the middle of a misunderstanding that could jeopardize his position. Baekryeonha sends a telegram with a cold tone, suggesting that there has been a misunderstanding, comparable to the Haeakcheon River incident. The protagonist realizes that there is no room for explanations and decides to face the situation with courage. Baekryeonha announces that Sima Xiaozu will be subordinate to Xiao Fudanzu, which disappoints Seogalma. However, the Blood Cult warriors readily accept the decision, showing their rigid hierarchical structure. Meanwhile, Song Ja-baek, visibly frustrated, questions the protagonist's rise, but Sima Ying, with her striking presence, intervenes before tensions can escalate. Sima Ying, who previously exuded danger and coldness, now appears to be a naive young woman, showing a peculiar interest in the protagonist. The episode explores the dynamics within the Blood Cult and the protagonist’s role in the political intrigues. Sima Ying’s arrival at his side arouses envy among the warriors, but he maintains an indifferent attitude. Meanwhile, a month passes and the protagonist arrives in Jiangkou County, in Guizhou Province, where the new base of the Blood Cult is being established. The location, previously planned for Haeakcheon, now serves as a hub for Baekryeonha and his followers. With the support of several influential leaders, Baekryeonha strengthens his position and sends letters to powerful figures, seeking to expand his network of allies.
The rivalry within the Blood Cult reaches its peak when the dissolution of the alliance between Musangseong and the Martial Arts Federation accelerates internal conflicts. Amidst this escalation of tensions, the protagonist is suddenly summoned, suggesting that there is an important mission to be assigned to him. As he heads to the main office, he encounters Song Ja-baek and Song Woo-hyeon, indicating that something big is about to happen.
The episode reinforces the themes of politics, loyalty, and ambition within the Blood Cult. The protagonist, now more aware of the challenges he faces, must carefully navigate this power game, where any mistake could be fatal.
