The story follows a protagonist who, despite being considered weak and having lost his Danjeon (a vital center of internal energy for martial arts), surprises everyone by demonstrating exceptional skills in combat. The plot unfolds against a backdrop of family rivalry and martial arts disputes, with the protagonist facing opponents who previously despised him.

The story begins with Young-young, the protagonist's younger brother, looking at him with disbelief and red eyes from emotion. Young-young seems to have been shielded from the truth about the state of his brother's Danjeon, which leads him to a mix of surprise and concern when he sees his fighting skills. At this moment, So Young-hyun, an arrogant antagonist, gets up after being knocked down, demonstrating his willingness to continue the fight.

The protagonist realizes that, although So Young-hyun is a skilled warrior and one of the main representatives of the Ikyang Soga school of martial arts, he still has gaps and limitations in his technique. Taking advantage of this, the protagonist deliberately reduces his display of energy to deceive So Young-hyun and encourage him to underestimate him. When the opponent attacks, the protagonist reacts quickly, blocking the attack and returning a slap to his face. This blow not only surprises So Young-hyun, but also symbolizes retaliation for the offenses he and his family have suffered.

The battle continues with So Young-hyun attempting to use the Sohyeon Sword Technique, one of the most respected in his school, but the protagonist demonstrates his deep knowledge of this technique, blocking each blow with ease. He returns another slap to the opponent's face, further destabilizing his composure. The audience watching the fight begins to react, expressing shock at the protagonist's unexpected skill.

Meanwhile, warriors from the main house and subordinates of So Jang-yoon, another enemy previously defeated, discuss the situation. They are surprised to see that the protagonist, previously considered a failure, is now dominating So Young-hyun. Frustrated and embarrassed, So Young-hyun himself decides to use an even more advanced and powerful technique: the rising swordsmanship of Ikyangsoga. This technique, taught only to the head of the main house and the leader of the minor house, is a highly destructive and complicated sword movement. Even faced with this new strategy, the protagonist remains calm and analyzes each move. He blocks the attacks one by one, demonstrating that he not only knows the technique, but is also capable of overcoming it with his own skill. In a few moments, he disarms So Young-hyun and forces him to retreat. The audience is stunned to witness the humiliating defeat of one of the leaders of Ikyang Soga. At this point, the protagonist offers So Young-hyun an honorable way out: if he apologizes for insulting his deceased mother and disrespecting his brother Young-young, he will end the fight. However, So Young-hyun refuses to admit his defeat and tries to justify his failure by claiming that the protagonist must have used a forbidden method to increase his strength in such a short period of time. This insinuation causes murmurs among the warriors of the main house, since forbidden training such as the "boatman" are techniques condemned by the martial world.

So Young-hyun, furious and humiliated, decides to go all in and uses his most deadly technique, Sodongpaegeom. This technique focuses on precise strikes to eliminate the opponent quickly, targeting only the vital points. The protagonist, however, demonstrates his true potential and blocks the attack with ease. He then counterattacks with a series of quick and precise strikes, completely disarming So Young-hyun. As a final punishment, he delivers a blow so powerful that it breaks the opponent's teeth and makes him spit blood on the ground.

The protagonist's victory is absolute. He has managed to avenge the humiliations he and his brother suffered and has proven that his return to the martial world was not by chance. However, before he can fully enjoy his triumph, he notices that the room has fallen completely silent. Turning around, he sees that the head of the main family, So Ik-heon, has arrived accompanied by two legendary warriors from the Hyeongsan faction: Hyeongsan Ilgeom and Hyeongsan Yeohyeop. They have not only witnessed his fight, but also seem to have sensed the immense power he now possesses. Jo Il-hye, one of the representatives of the Hyeongsan, questions who the protagonist is, as his strength and technique are far beyond what was expected of him. So Ik-heon's expression is complicated, suggesting that he does not know how to react to what he has just witnessed. The protagonist realizes that his identity and abilities are now impossible to ignore and that his presence challenges the power structure of the Ikyang Soga family. The climax of the story approaches when So Young-hyun, still dazed and covered in blood, tries to defend himself by claimingthat the protagonist used forbidden methods. However, Jo Yun-cheong, one of Hyeongsan’s masters, reacts in an unexpected way, suggesting that perhaps the story is not as simple as it seems. The protagonist realizes that his journey is just beginning and that, despite having proven his worth, he will now face even greater challenges within the framework of martial arts.

This story presents themes of redemption, resilience, and revenge, as the protagonist defies expectations and reverses the narrative of his own weakness to become a feared and respected figure. He has not only defeated his oppressors, but also challenged the system of hierarchy and power within Ikyang Soga. Now, faced with the legendary masters, he must decide what his next move will be.
