Dohwaseon

Dohwaseon (도화선/桃花仙) is a paradise and fortress of the Ancient Immortal Taoists in ''Absolute Sword Sense'' Novel and Webtoon.

Background[]

Dohwaseon called also a Paradise of the Ancient Taoists. It's not without a reason because Eight Taoists moved there to seek Tao. They established this realm to their needs and cut themselves out of mortal world and affairs within it. Ancient Immortal Taoists took there all of their treasure artifacts, unique martial arts and techniques being recognized as dream of many. They make that decision because they knew huge amount of power that they wield can be extremely dangerous for realm of ordinary humans.

Description[]

This is a realm cut of the mortal word. Human realm limitations like a time doesn't work there. Only those who are chosen can enter this place thru magical mist that appear in different locations and periods of time in mortal realm. Originally only official Taoists could enter Dohwaseon. Jin Woon-Hwi was the first one who have done this as a person that not following the way of Tao. Despite being a Blood Demon he contributed to this place saving it from destruction during internal war started by a mad disciple of Sword Immortal and his followers. Thanks to his influence on his masters Eight Taoists, he moved there with his wives after events of ''Absolute Sword Sense'' and preparing arrangements that he left for the future generations to prevent calamity in ''Myst,Might,Mayhem'' time. The only problem was with Cheol Su-ryun who accumulated too much negative karma during her vicious life before she meet Wonhwi. That's why to make her entrance possible she had to swear not to kill anyone and went to isolation in special array for hundreds of years. Sima Chak was also invited to this magnificent place but he declined. Jin Song-Baek was also invited, but chose to join his wife in death.

Dohwaseon is full of beautiful backyards with pink peach blossoms in full bloom. Entire area of that place is in synergy with nature. It's hard to find more beautiful place.

History[]

8 Immortal Taoist has sworn a long time ago not to appear again in the secular world or to get involved in the Three Blue/Samcheong (三淸), so they cannot leave Dohwaseon.

If he violates this, they will not be able to go to the 36 Heavens/36 Skies and will lose Original Body (元影身).

Since all of Dohwaseon's disciples also swore not to get involved in the secular world, Palseon (八仙) taught martial arts to Jin Woon-Hwi to prevent self-defense.

Before the creation of the Peach Blossom Xian, when ten practitioners practiced together, they were called the Ten Immortal Taoist (十仙), but the Taoist Baek Muja corrupted and became a Demonic Xian (魔仙).

Taoist Biseon Noong was assigned to protect the imperial palace based on the covenant between the Yeon(沇) imperial family and Dohwaseon.

For this reason, only the 8 Immortal Taoist remained, and they created Dohwaseon.
