Du Gong is one of the Supreme Warriors classified as one of the Eight Great Warriors. He is also only friend of Sima Chak.
History[]
He is one of few that know true story and tragedy of Sima Chak. Du Gong supports his friend and trying his best to clear his name and help with his revenge. To achieve that together with Wicked Moon Sword, they are searching for clues related to one golden eye man.
Abilities[]
Du Gong is known as one of the most intelligent figures of his era. Like Sima Chak, he possesses vast knowledge of martial arts. His primary specialties lie in array formations and body structure modification techniques, with the latter being his greatest strength.
While skilled martial artists can cultivate not only their internal energy but also their physical bodies, such as enhancing blood circulation through the True Blood Diamond Body technique, Du Gong takes this a step further. He has the extraordinary ability to alter the very structure of his own brain. By cultivating his neurons and rearranging different sections of his brain, he has achieved unparalleled mental adaptability. This ability made him completely immune to the effects of Illusion Poison.
Trivia[]
- Unfortunately, after the Imperial Palace arc, even the author seemed to forget about Du Gong's existence. There was a setup where Sima Chak expressed concern for him and even intended to rescue him from Ju Yang-seon's grasp. However, this plot point was never followed up on. After Jin Woon-Hwi's battle with Ju Yang-seon, Du Gong was never mentioned again.
