Description[]
Such a power is a rare occurrence. In most cases, individuals who undergo the Taoist medical procedure of Mount Mo attain only a semi-immortal body. This form halts aging and enables regeneration—as long as the neck remains intact. An Golden Eye ability mutation can be considered a lineage power or an awakening tied to higher core evolution (the spirit). It grants the user the power to perceive the energy flow of others, allowing them to predict an opponent's next move. At a higher level, this ability can also assess the condition of an opponent's organs.
However, this procedure is a counterfeit - an imperfect version of the one used by the Eight Taoists. The variant practiced in the mortal world is far less potent and carries numerous side effects. The most severe of these is the lack of full control over the Golden Eye.
Jeongyang Jinin, the greatest physician and mystic in the entire universe - and leader of the Eight Taoists - declared Jin Woon-Hwi’s body a ‘mess’ upon seeing him. During Woon-Hwi’s years of seclusion in Dohwaseon, Jeongyang Jinin worked tirelessly to stabilize and refine his body. Even so, his body couldn’t be fully stabilized before he returned to the mortal realm.
Myst Might Mayhem[]
Only after the events of Absolute Sword Sense did Jin Woon-Hwi's body finally achieve its perfected form - uniting the Golden Eye and Blood Demon Qi in perfect harmony, becoming something even beyond what the Eight Taoists could conceive.
Despite having a youthful face, he possessed an aura that seemed to encompass the entire gathering. And although his eyes were clearly black, every time they reflected light, they shimmered with both blood-red and golden hues, which was truly mysterious.—Heavenly Demon inner thoughts after seeing Woon-Hwi face for the first time
