Ju Yang-Seon is the one-golden-eyed man who hides in the shadow and comes out every few years to challenge the generation's martial artist. His group secretly plans many disasters. He is the central antagonist of Absolute Sword Sense.

He was first mentioned by Southern Iron Sword as the man who defeated Ho Jong-Dae, Southern Heavenly Sword in 40 seconds. He also cut off the legs of the Flying Blade Assassin King, Han Ji-Sang, before throwing into a cliff.
He was the mysterious person who appeared during the war between the Blood Cult against combine effort of the Murim Alliance and Dual Martial Forces and killed the previous First Elder. Since the previous First Elder was one of the Great Evil along with the previous Blood Demon, this weakened Blood Cult leading them to be defeated.
He also killed both Ung Chen-do and Jang Cheon-Jae, while taking Kwak Hyeong-Jik's arm in a duel. Since these martial artists were the future of the Murim Alliance, they believe that the man is related to the Blood Cult, who were looking to rise once again.

He was able to severely wound Sima Chak, someone who crossed walls beyond the wall and one of the top 5 of the Supreme Warriors.
Absolute Sword Sense[]
It was revealed by Cheol Su-ryun, the Revolting Mother, that he had been alive since the time of General Gu Yaja and that he is an immortal who had lived long enough to see dynasties change several times. Despite his power, he was defeated by a descendant who succeeded the vision of the Sword Immortal. He still feared the descendant so much that he kept on hiding since he believe that if he showed himself, the descendant of Sword Immortal with appear as well. He is currently looking for the five Yokai Swords, believing there would be a secret that might allow him to defeat the descendant.
It was later revealed that he was the infamous Golden Great Emperor that declared war on all of Murim. This led to the destruction of several small sects causing other sects to join hands to survive. The persecution of Murim Sects, headed by the sixth generation member of the Royal family eventually reached the Flying Crane Moon Sect, which was part of the government officials while sharing blood with the Blood Sect. Despite the Royal family's best effort, the Flying Crane Moon Sect escaped with the help of the Blood Sect, who could not ignore their blood and mobilized everything to assist their relatives.
He was eventually defeated by a mysterious descendant of Sword Immortal, who destroyed his whole army, warning him that he will always be watching him. This led to him killing all witnesses, ensuring no one will remember his disgrace while always hiding and only emerging once every few years.
