How dare bugs try to throw ash onto the finished rice!—Mu Ak
Mu Ak, the White Face Ghost, was a former Elder/Venerable Dignitary of the Blood Cult and former member of the 5 Great Evils, who was believed to have died 20 years ago during the war along with the Blood Demon.
Background[]
Mu Ak was considered dead after the war. It was revealed that it was Sima Chak who defeated and crippled him. However, he was recruited probably by Gu Jae-Yang and joined the Golden Eye Troops. Thanks to the Taoist secret techniques and body improvement procedures related to the Mount Mo sect, he managed to restore his dantein and crossed the wall 10 years after the war. He tried to cause chaos by infiltrating the Dual Martial Troops with the Golden Troops by acting as fake Chun Mu-Seong, one of the leaders of the major orders to kill Jin Song-Baek, the Invincible Wind God and take control of the Dual Martial Forces.
Huh. It has already begun. The war will end when everyone inside this tower dies.—Mu Ak, to Jin Song-Baek
Plot[]
After Jin Woon-Hwi escape from the cave Sima Chak placed him in, with his grandfather and Sima Young, they infiltrated the Dual Martial Forces to see his biological father Jin Song-Baek but he was later captured by one of the Lords of the Dual Martial Forces and One of the Eight Great Masters, Cheon Mu-Seong, the Martial Heaven Sword along with Baek Hye-Hyang. He later found the real Cheon Mu-seong who was now crippled in the prison and learned that the current Cheon Mu-seong was a fake. It was then later revealed by Sima Chak that the fake was actually Mu Ak. His plan failed out of his greed, first of all he lusted for talented martial artists too much. Second and the most important, he ignored Ju Yang-seon order to kill real Cheon Mu-Seong. Instead, Mu Ak imprisoned him and tortured regularly to obtain one of the three hidden treasures of the Sword Immortal. Despite that, until the end he fully blamed Jin Woon-Hwi for his own failure.
Well, things all went wrong because of you. If it wasn’t for you, everything would have been done according to His will.—Mu Ak, to Jin Woon-Hwi
