Yang Kang-Il was a spy of Baek Hye-Hyang's faction who was sent to infiltrate Baek Ryeon-Ha's faction in Six Blood Valley to lure them into confronting each other in the cliffs outside.
After So Woon-Hwi came to the conclusion that he was a spy, Woon-Hwi stabbed Kang-Il which killed the man.

Kang-Il wears the standard Blood Cult robes with his commander sash around his waist. He seems to have narrow eyes, looking like he is keeping his eyes closed most of the time. His nose is large and round.
